Axon Communications appoints corporate director
10 January 2006: Axon Communications has appointed Andrew Butcher to lead a Corporate Division to complement its public relations, medical education and clinical consulting business. Based in Richmond in Surrey, Axon Communications is the European office of NATIONAL Public Relations, the leading public relations company in Canada.
Andrew Butcher has over 20 years experience in corporate communications and issue management consultancy for both the private and public sectors. He was previously managing director of the specialist corporate communications and reputation management consultancy, Christow. Here he built his reputation for work in the public sector leading to being listed by the COI as an approved strategic communications consultant for public sector clients.
According to Axon’s managing partner, Ralph Sutton, “this is an important strategic move which aligns the business with NATIONAL’s strong corporate communications and reputation consultancy based out of its offices across Canada and New York. Our aim is to develop our capacity to service clients beyond the healthcare sector both in the UK and internationally.”
