Jo Filshie joins Axon Communications as director
Richmond, Surrey, 4 November 2005: Axon Communications has announced the appointment of Jo Filshie as Director commencing 14 November. In this role, she will be responsible for driving growth in the ethical public relations business working alongside Axon’s business streams in Medical Education/Clinical Research Consulting, Consumer Healthcare and Corporate Communications.
Prior to joining Axon Ms Filshie was Director of Healthcare at Burson-Marsteller, Sydney where she lived for three years before her recent return to the UK. Before moving to Sydney she held a number of communications roles within GSK Europe and UK and also worked with Burson-Marsteller in London for several years.
Speaking about the appointment, Ralph Sutton, Managing Partner said, “I have worked with Jo for many years, both as a colleague and as a client, and she is truly an outstanding operator. Her arrival will enable us to maintain our rapid momentum as we build our integrated healthcare communications business.”
